Shelly was fantastic. I have used her multiple times because of the remarkable transitions she performs on my listings. Her tastes adjust to the particular style of the home and the homeowner. Its not interior decorating, it is true property prep for market. For example, I had a listing on Park Forest Curve that was in rough shape and in a neighborhood where there were over two dozen other homes of the same style and price.
Shelly works wonderfully with the Seller in painting a picture of what needs to be done and the difference it will make. I had not had much success with this until I brought Shelley into the picture. Prior to Shelley, the home was very congested with lots of furnishings and wall hangings. The wall colors were either white or very colorful. The layout was uninviting and complicated. Shelley spent several hours at our listing helping with paint selections, wall hangings, furnishings, etc. She also addressed the exterior of the home, backyard, and curb appeal.
The home looked bright and inviting and much more spacious and within two weeks of the completion of the changes, the property went under contract at our asking price. Though this is not the first time this has happened, I am always shocked at the success of the results. I now pay for all of my seller's staging services because I know better than anyone that I will see the return through a much shorter listing period. Thanks Shelley!
